Educator Workshops

Educator Workshops are for all educators in formal or non-formal settings who are interested in bringing environmental education to students.  The minimum length of a workshop for certification is 6 hours, but many 10 hour workshops are available offering 1 PLU.  Registration includes the Project WET Curriculum & Activity Guide, hand-on experience with the activities, and many ideas for implementation.  This certification is to prepare you to teach students using the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide

Project WET Educator Workshops can be scheduled upon request for a minimum of 12 educators.  Contact  the WET Facilitator nearest you by selecting a county from the Facilitator Map.

Workshops are posted on our calendar page and/or on eeingeorgia.org

Facilitator Workshops

Facilitator certification trains the participants to lead their own Educator workshops for other adults.  These workshops are two days in length and are often times combined with Projects WILD and Learning Tree for triple facilitator certification. Participants do not need to have prior certification with Project WET before this training. Facilitators promise to hold at least one Project WET educator workshop each year.

Project WET Facilitator Workshops are held once/year but can be scheduled upon request for a minimum of 12 participants.  Contact us for more information.

Workshops are posted on our calendar page and on eeingeorgia.org

Advanced Project WET Workshops

Periodically Georgia Project WET provides facilitators and educators with access to additional water education resources.  Training focuses on providing access to additional curricula, as well as specific information on local water resources. Please contact us for more details or with your own ideas about an advanced workshop.
